| The goal of the HBA is
to provide businesses with resources that will help them
to grow and succeed. We work with local businesses from
Hatfield, MA and the surrounding area, while also
providing support to the local schools and community.
The HBA was started in
1987 by several business owners in the town of
Hatfield. This group began to work to find ways that
businesses in town could prosper from working together,
and how the group could help aid in the success of local
businesses.
During the past twenty-five years has been a resource for group advertising and promotion, which has included newspaper, mailings and the internet. Not unlike CISA that works to support local agriculture, the HBA's mission is to highlight the goods and services located here in the Hatfield area with the goal that informed townspeople will patronize our businesses and in turn local businesses will continue to be patrons to local organizations such as the Boy & Girl Scouts, community organizations, and annual events such as the Hatfield Community Luminarium. |
